I'm taking my iPhone to an Apple retail store to have it looked at (the lock button doesn't click anymore) and I was wondering if I need to remove my jailbreak before I go? It's been a long time since I've heard any talk about this but I've heard that a jailbreak voids your iPhone warranty or they won't look at it if it is jailbroken. Is this really true?

Always restore before you bring it to Apple.
They will replace it anyway so there's no point on trying to save your JB since you will have to do it again when you get home with the replacement.

You should do a DFU restore (look it up if you don't know what it means). That will ensure that you erase all traces of the jailbreak.
