Remove Keyboard Brightness Controls

Hello

Currently looking for a method in which I can remove only the brightness controls on the keyboard? These are currently mapped to F1 and F2. I see that I can have all of the F keys function as normal F keys, but I did not see a way to sort of "pick and choose" (I wish to retain the previous, play, next, mute, volume keys)

I have tried searching this and could only find that its either all or none.
