Remove Paired Remotes

Does anyone know how to remove old Apple TV remote pairings (see attached)? I just replaced my Apple TV 4K with the new version and the remote on my iPhone 14 Pro Max pairs with the new Apple TV but doesn’t work correctly.

I don't think there is an option to unpair. However, you can pair it again and may possibly will work better and unpair older one. Follow the steps in the below article to pair the remote.

they're not talking about the physical remote, they're talking about the remote on the phone

Try rebooting your phone, aTV, and router. The remote app uses network broadcasts to discover devices it can control. and sometimes broadcasts get bogged down. and rebooting your phone might clear the old remotes
