Ok so I have a macbook pro now with several partitions, Macintosh HD (partition 1 of SSD), BOOTCAMP, (partition 2 of SSD) Recovery HD (partition 3 of SSD), and Storage HD (HFS+ storage HDD in opti bay). On the EFI boot menu I have 4 entries, two labeled "Mac OS X" and two labeled "windows"...

as you can see this is rather confusing, one of the entries labeled "windows" is actually my storage HD which is not a bootable drive so I would like to remove it from the EFI menu entirely. One of the entries labeled "Mac OS X" is actually the recovery HD and I would like to rename it so there is no confusion.

So what I have now on the efi boot menu is Mac OSX + Mac OSX + windows + windows HOWEVER I want it to be Mac OSX + Recovery + windows

is this possible?

Install ReFIt as the true boot manager and you can arrange it whichever way you want. :D
