I updated my lock screen theme and want to get rid of any and all "slide to ..." text that appears...I've gotten "slide to unlock" and "slide to view" for bitesms removed, but am having a lot of trouble removing this for other push notified apps, particularly Beejive IM and Facebook. Does anyone know where the appropriate strings file (or plist) is for these apps, where I can comment out this text? Thanks!

I have found some strings that gets rid off 'Slide to view' for the Words with Friends game, judging by the name i think it should work for all notifications.

"REMOTE_NOTIFICATIONS_LOCK_FORMAT" - " ";
"REMOTE_NOTIFICATIONS_LOCK_LABEL" - " ";

You can find them in System>Library>CoreServices>SpringboardApp>English.lproj>SpringboardStrings

I need to find the one for the alarms "Slide to stop" but can't for some reason.

Any way, hope this helps.

Found out how to stop 'slide to stop alarm' by editing the Localizable.strings Under /Applications/Mobile Timer.app/English.lproj Directory :D
