Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu on my macbook a while ago, but never really used it. Then I tried to uninstall it. I did the following:
1) Opened Disk Utility and selected the partition with Ubuntu installed (named BOOTCAMP) and clicked on Erase.
2) I selected erase with format FAT(MS-DOS) as it was preset.
3) Then, I clicked on my Hard Drive on the left panel and tried to vizualise what I had. I had the MacHD Partition, still the BOOTCAMP partition, and 2 small DiskOS partitions.
Then, I checked the internet for solutions on how to merge both MacHD and bootcamp partitions. They said to click on the minus sign to delete my partition's content and simply drag one partition over another, but I couldn't do that.
I tried re-formatting the Bootcamp partition for the Mac Journaled version as suggested by a member of a forum, so that I could merge as cited before. It, however, disappeared with the bootcamp partition and only shows my current MacHD as before and a Big DiskOS with my total HD as capacity
What do I do now? I am thinking about formatting the whole computer...
