Remove Windows License from Bootcamp

Hi all,

So I removed my old windows 8 partition and now want to use that license on my pc. But it's saying that key is already in use? How do I remove it from my Mac?

There's nothing to remove on your Mac. The activation process is recorded by Microsoft on their servers. When the activation fails it gives you an option to call MS, Its an automated process that you then in the end say the license is for a single computer and you'll be given a code to enter into the compute to activate it.
