Hi,

I recently removed iTunes from my start up folder at:

C:\Users\(User-Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

But iTunes still launches at startup. Does anyone know why?

Thanks!

(Windows 7)

Try going to Start and open Run (search Run, and open it).

Type "msconfig" and a window will pop open. Open the BOOT tab and look for something there regarding iTunes. If there is something, uncheck it and reboot.

Let me know if that gets it!

use MSCONFIG.exe

go to the services tab, click "hide microsoft services" and uncheck all of them

do the same on the startup tab

I didn't find iTunes under the boot tab, but I did find it in the startup tab. Seemed to work. Thanks!
