removed optical drive - not powering on at all

So my optical drive was making a lot of noise, even if there wasn't a disc in there. This has been going on for almost a year, so I decided to just take the thing out since I have an external dvd drive anyways. I read all the guides and watched the youtube vids and took the thing apart and pulled out the optical drive. Now, it isn't powering on at all. For what it's worth, if I plug my charger in, the light on the charger turns green... but when I press the power button, nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea what I might have done to this thing?

I believe it's the 2007 15" pro

Tried putting the optical drive back in, still nothing. Took it back out though

Well, problem solved- the ribbon connector for the keyboard was pushed in but not ALL the way in! oops

I did this myself when I took mine apart before. I thought I was screwed lol.

haha good to know! i'm looking to ditch my optical drive for an optibay when intel launches its 3rd gen SSDs
