Hi

I used the Bootcamp Manager to remove the windows partition, and when I rebooted, I now get a white screen, followed by a black screen with a blinking _

I have tried booting into recovery mode and internet recovery mode. Same white + black screen comes up.

Unfortunately I can't find my MacOS install discs to try a fresh install, is there any way for me to get this thing working? Am I still able to buy a copy of MacOS that will run on this machine?

Well, solved it. I found my MacOS install disc. Got it in the drive, held Option upon booting up, and was presented with the option to select Mac HD or DVD. Chose Mac HD and it booted up as normal.

Weird. But I'll take it.

Your computer was probably looking for boot camp at startup. Set the boot disk to your Mac partition in system preferences so you don’t have to option boot every time.

Spot on, just changed that setting and it works as normal now. Thank you!
