Hi...

I'm replacing the icons on my iPhone 4, but when I replace the original with one that has a transparent background, there is a box behind the icon.
Dores anyone know how I can get rid of that?

See attached img...

Thanks!

Same fix as from Glasklart HD theme for forum icons (http://macthemes.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16805129&p=1)

"To fix this navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileIcons.framework/ and rename "AppIconMask@2x.png" to something else, such as "AppIconMask@2x-backup.png".

However, a side effect is that this makes unchanged icons squared. Unfortunately, at this time, this is the only solution."

Thanks, will try that...
I can live with the other part, since I'll replace most of the icons!

Another ? about the background.
When looking in Application Switcher, the shadow is also there.
Do you know the path to these files too?

the shadow can be removed with the winerboard addon "remove icon shadows"

Booooooooooo. This drives me crazy.

Drives me up the wall as well - my glasklart theme looks awesome with vWallpaper on the background but squared icons are ugly. Need to get some free time to do some photoshoping of my 300 app icons that are not on the spreadsheet from macthemes...

Thanks!

Now I have spent the past 2 hours looking for the background behind the clock on the lockscreen...
Any ideas where to look!?

BTW... My theme so far:
