I would like to clean-up all apps from my computer, as I really don't have a need for a backup. So I would like to remove all apps by unticking the "sync apps" option in iTunes. But then it claims that all apps will be removed on ipad as well..that I don't want. Anybody any idea how to proceed? Thanks!

So far as I know you have to have them on your computer. It's normally not a huge deal though as...well, I have 137 iOS programs (frankly I'll never touch most of them...) taking up 5.5GB. That's a ton on an 8 or 16GB iOS device, but not a big deal on a modern-ish computer, thankfully.

Ah crap totally forgot that I had posted this question on this forum as well. I already found the answer on Ipadforums.net.

Thanks though.
