Hi All.

I've noticed that sometimes when I remove my 6s+ (ios 9.1) from the lightning cable where it's charging, the lock screen display doesn't get triggered to turn on/ become visible. I'm not sure if it's because the phone is fully charged and not actively getting current when I'm removing the cable, but I'm guessing it's happening when the phone is fully charged. Is this normal behavior or could I have a faulty lightning port on my phone? It does this with at least 2 cables, but I don't recall seeing this behavior on my 6 (ios 9.02).

thanks in advance!

Frank

You are exactly right. Every iPhone I have owned would light up the screen when the charger was removed and my 6S+ does most the time but 1 or 2 times out of 5 it will not light the screen. Glad to hear others are the same. It must be a software thing.

First time it did it, it scared me that my phone was dead!
