I am new to this forum and not sure if this is the correct spot for posting my question. I’m running a Macbook Pro Safari 7.0.5 browser, Startpage search engine. After removing all Cookies under Preferences, Privacy shutting down and restarting I still have 3,362 website stored cookies. Regardless of how many times I remove and shut down these same 3,362 cookies still reappear. I have tried resetting Safari and still no luck. How do I remove these cookies permanently?
Thanks for any constructive advice.

Do you have other devices that may be syncing with your MBP?
Have you tried disabling your Safari Extensions before you delete cookies?
Do you quit Safari immediately after deleting cookies?
Are you clearing your cache at the same time?
Do you have any other apps, such as iTunes running?
