I'm pretty sure my MBA 2011 did not have any flash installed out of the box. If however you have it installed, there should be a 'uninstall flash' file somewhere in the programs folder.
 
I have Lion and just looked in the folder Gruber described and the flash files he mentions are there.

Make sure you are looking in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/ at the root level and not in your user folder.
 
Something I do before trying to open flash based pages in Chrome is going to Develop/User Agent/Safari iOS iPad (you have to enable Developer in Safari's Preferences).

This tell the webpage you're using the iPad so incase the website has an iPad version, you'll see the video properly.

It's nice to see less and less pages using Flash lately:
