Each time I install Jaguar, I notice that a number of foreign language fonts are added even when I do a custom install and choose not to add in the components that make the OS work in those languages.

I've tracked them down to the fonts folder in the system folder. They are locked and can't be deleted. Do I have to use another computer to mount this disk through firewire target disk mode to delete these files? Is it even advisable to delete stuff from the system folder that way?

Sure there's an easy solution to this...somebody know what it is?
