Hello All,

We have a new macbook and unforutnately have a couple of drops of black ink below the keyboard (to the right of the mouse pad).

So its not a bad place to remove it, i'm just a bit cautious as to what to use to remove it.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

ink removal thanks

Toothpaste. It is slightly abrasive and should lift the ink right out.

Really? would never have thought of that. thanks for your quick reply mate. '

i'll give it a go soon and will reply back with results for future peeps.

cheers

No problem. For any future cleaning needs I recommend Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They are probably a little less abrasive than toothpaste therefore better to use on a regular basis. They work wonders and most people on this forum will vouch for them.

Enjoy your MacBook.
