removing Library column from itunes

is there a way to hide the blue Library column on the left side of iTunes? id like to just see the music i have playing because i like having it open on screen with google chrome and i'd have enough room if i could just hide that column when i wanted. i know i could use the mini player to save screen space, but it's not nearly the same.

im on windows 7, but i guess whatever action i need to take would work on a mac too.

You can always remove/resize other columns to adjust the size, but I don't think removing or hiding the Library column is an option.
