Removing Mobileme symbol in menu bar?

I don't use mobile me but the circle symbol is in my menu bar. I want to remove it. any help appreciated. Thx!

Right click it, open the preferences, click on the "sync" tab, uncheck the "Show status in menu bar" at the bottom.
