I'll keep it short.
I'm happy with pages and keynote, but I need more or the advance options that Numbers doesn't have (as opposed to Excel)

I've just installed the whole office suite, and was wondering if it's safe / anybody has managed to remove some of the apps safely?
I won't need: Word, Messenger for Mac, Powerpoint, Entourage, Microsoft Project Gallery.
(everything except Excel!)

Could I just App Zap the ones I don't need? Are there shared fonts or anything?

Thanks

you can appzap the ones you don't need. I did the same with Excel 08 because i need excel 04 for data analysis tool pack. Just don't forget to completely remove office 08 you need to uninstall it with Microsoft's uninstaller.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've zapped all the big ones. Any ideas if it's OK to zap some of the appse in the 'office' folder such as Microsoft Cert Manager and Microsoft Database Daemon?
