Removing Optical Drive

I was thinking of removing my DVD Superdrive and adding a SSD drive. Will I be able to put the DVD drive in an enclosure and use it as an external drive?

Yes, many enclosures available just good luck finding a faceplate-bezel...none exist that works for the stock superdrive because they all have the eject button which our drives dont support. You could but the one from maxupgrades which comes with aluminum case I think.

Max upgrades for $89 gives you the optibay and the USB enclosure (which works perfectly) for our optical drives.
