Hi everyone - I enjoy the otterbox defender for my iphone 6, except for the screen protector. I like the feeling of glass, so I planning on taking it off. After watching a few videos in looks like a hairdryer and 'goo gone' will do the trick. I purchased a glass screen protector on Amazon (I think it's .33 MM thick). I was wondering if anyone else has done this? Any advice about taking off the defenders screen protector, and does the case fit back together ok, and work well with the glass screen protector installed? Thank you!

Yes. Should work fine. I have an iCarez .20mm tempered glass screen protector on with my Otterbox Defender for the 6 Plus. Fits just fine. Although recently I ditched the Otterbox and went with the Magpul Field case.

If you are worried about the phone not work well after installing the .33mm glass screen protector, maybe you could choose the thinner one like .18mm.

Tempered glass will work as long as you get one that isn't edge to edge. The Zagg glass works well with the Otterbox.

I agree. THey work well. I just purchase a white inner she'll and used a hair dryer. Came out without glue in 5 minutes. Awesome, and my glass works great

thanks

great - thanks everyone! I have a .33 MM glass protector on order. It's not edge to edge, so it should work!
