ok so i have alot of downloaded music from various places and i want to remove some parts of the file like the announcements and remix them back together. i also want to learn how to remix music whats the best software to use and any sugestions what are some good websites. if this post is in the wrong spot please move it. thank you in advance.

Garage band will do this. You can drop songs on the time line then cut and drag them around, match volumes and so on. You likely already have GB on the Mac.
 
The first two suggestions are a bit light weight... if your serious about doing remixes, check out Ableton. http://www.ableton.com

you can download a demo there. google/youtube how to mix songs with it, im sure there's tips on doing remixes as well.
