How can I uninstall the Leopard printer drivers that it initially installed? I've heard this hogs up around 2.5 gigs of HD space! Where can I find them on the HD? or is there a program that does it automatically? Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

so i checked that folder, and there's only a few files in it adding up to about 3 MBs...does that mean that it never installed initially? or that they might be somewhere else?

Sorry safari quit on me before i had finished the post, they should be in one of these places, can't quite remember which one in particular

/Library/Printers - think it is this one
/Users/username/Library/Printers
/System/Library/Printers

If you happen to remove these drivers and you buy one of the printers which requires one of them can you get that particular one back through software update?

i've seen other posts claiming this is possible... worst case scenario you could always reinstall the printers drivers from the leopard install disc

it had all the printer drivers except the one for my printer....

when i installed leopard i just decided not to install them. when i first ran software update, it found the drivers for my printer and installed them, cool! I was planning on just downloading them from Canon's site.
