Removing redsn0w tethered JB

Hey guys I have a IP4 CDMA verizon that's jailbroken tethered on 6.1.3....anyway I need to sell it so how to I remove the tethered jailbreak without screwing up the phone? (I killed my 3GS by just restoring thru iTunes w the tethered jb)... Any help is appreciated

DFU mode and restore. I've never had a problem with this method, although you'll end up with iOS 7. Dunno if that's a problem.
