Removing server from Macbook?

I've got a Macbook running OSX 10.5.8 and I'm trying to update my laptop (My school gave me this laptop when I graduated).
I've ran a network diagnostic to set this laptop up on my current network and it is able to connect to the internet but it cannot connect to a certain server (being my old school network) is there a way I can remove that server another way?
