Removing sport band pin

Has anyone tried to remove the pin from the sport bands? I have the gold watch and it looks better with a black band, however my black band has a silver pin. I want to swap the gold and silver but im scared of destroying my bands in the process.

Anyone have any luck?

Nope, you can't get the pin out without destroying the band.

Get it gold plated or use a gold marker. Or you can get the Space Gray sport band as the space gray pin won't clash as much.

There is a black sport band with a black SS pin. I know that, because I just bought one for my gold Sport watch at the Apple Store yesterday. I think it looks really nice and Stealthy.
