Since upgrading to MacOS Tahoe, I've been unable to permanently rename or even edit a bookmark. It keeps changing back to the original name. This is brand new with 26.01. The only workaround I've found is to pull up the bookmarked page and bookmark it again with my edits. Anyone else got this prob?

Editing Bookmark name works for me in macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 and Safari 26.0.1 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
works here without issue as well. have you rebooted?
you could try creating a test admin account on your mac, see if you can save then edit bookmarks there (this would tell you that the problem is tied to your account, not the OS in general)....
