Rename dcim?

Can I rename dcim folder on my 3gs 5.1.1.. When I plug my 3gs into my computer I can see internal storage. But I can't rename dcim or add new folders.
 
I figured it out. On my mac I can see all the folders ans make new ones. I can even rename DCIM. But on windows 8 laptop I can't. I can only see DCIM folder. Why is this?? Where are all the other folders??
