Just a noob kind of question...i will preemptively apologize, hah.

I am trying to rename my user folder, like the one that contains my music, downloads, pictures, etc. I cant seem to do it the pc way of right clicking on it, so I wondering if I am missing something...?

Anyone know how I can do this? Please?

Thanks.

You mean just renaming folders or files? Just click on the file and press enter.

If you mean the username, you have to change your user account name..

It's a bit tricky to change change the name of your home folder, but not impossible.

You can save a bit of hassle by just making a new account with your new desired short name (home folder name). Should that not be an option, I'd advise you to the following Apple support article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1428

Hope that helps,
