Renaming in iPhoto

Ive renamed some files from there orginal title, e.g//
1234.jpg to Prom 1
I did this using the infomation tab in the bottom left hand side of the screen.
When i use spotlight to try find them they dont appear.

spotlight needs to re-index. If you try to use Spotlight too soon after a change which is embedded deep within the iPhoto library, it won't show up immediately.
