Hi all, last night i had to reinstall OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro, I used Disk Utility to Format the drive but made a mistake, not really a mistake as such but something that will annoy me :) when it formatted the drive i forgot to change the name of the drive. Instead of having Macintosh HD as my HD name its simply untitled.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I would have reinstalled again and corrected the problem but i've already installed everything back onto the MacBook Pro :)

Problem Sorted. Because I was copying files to the HD it wouldn't let me edit the HD name.

Once the copying finished and I tried this it worked first time :)

Yup, OSX is funny like that. All IO operations on the intended drive need to be complete before renaming the volume :)

Glad you sorted it out.
