Good morning everyone.

I have downloaded some tracks from a memory stick to my iTunes and then have burned the same tracks from iTunes over to a CD. Clicking on the icon for both the stick and the CD in the home screen, the tracks are listed in the format 'abc123.mp3' etc but on iTunes, they have loaded up with the full correct description such as 'Talk 1 - Sunday 23rd' etc.

How can I rename the tracks on both the stick and the CD so that they have the full title as displayed in iTunes. The tracks themselves are not copyright protected, as far as I know.

Many thanks

Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes is a very useful site for just this sort of thing.
This link is to a script that renames the file based on the iTunes tag information. Once that is done you could re-burn a new CD and make a new copy of the Flash Drive.
Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks Gobsmacked. I'll check it out. Sorry to have taken so long to get back to you.
