rented movie on 2 imacs

I have several imacs. I rented a movie from itunes and thought that thru homesharing I could watch the rental on any of my imacs. Is this not possible? The movie is only showing up on the imac I used to rent the movie. I'm logged on using the same apple id on all imacs too but the movie is not showing up on the others.

I was in the same situation a couple of weeks ago. I rented a movie on my iphone thinking it would be available through the cloud on my computer. It wasn't. I tried to copy the file from the phone to the computer, it transferred, but wouldn't play. I contacted iTunes, got refunded and was told that when you rent a movie, it's only available on the device you rented it on.

They really don't make that clear on the about rentals section
