Renting iTunes movie w/out internet...?

I want to rent a movie and download to my iPad to watch on the plane. Can I watch a rented movie w/out wifi or internet?

Normally it downloads the film first, then you can watch within 31 days if purchase.

Once you start watching the film you have 48 hours to finish watching it.

So I just need to ensure its downloaded onto my iPad entirely correct?

I believe so, just rent straight from iTunes via your iPad, once downloaded it should work without a connect.

As I stated above you have 31 days to watch or 48 hours the second you press play.

To be honest if someone could confirm this that would be great, I normally rent and watch on a connection never actually tried it without.
