Well The image below will sum up basically all of my problems...

I open a web page the mouse turns from smooth to big jumps across screen, also slow down when using other apps.

Heck, which ones do I force quit?!

Ahhh!

Ummm.....wow? 4 active Finders? That feat definitely deserves a gold star. Don't know what to tell ya though. Restart? Zap P-RAM? reset-nvram? Run through the basics...

haha, I have been Plagued with problems before...

I have repaired permissions,

BTW, that hasn't been highest finder count, I had like 8 once... insane...

someone else had the multiple finder thing a few weeks ago:
link

in the end, the multi-finder was a graphical slip, and not what caused the crash. what's the poison isync logo all about? is that normal? (i don't use isync)

try running top next time sys slows down. see what's clogging proc/holding ram....

<EDIT> i had the same problem on my tibook for a while. the jumpy mouse and crash, that is. it started just after installing 10.2.6, happened two or three times, and has been quiet since.

Yeah well it feels like the finder was running 8x as slow so... :(

Yeah poisoned has a similar (not the same) as iSync.

I read that thread, but they gave to real solution...

I have restarted, I think this is tied into my DUAL image Folders and other stuff...

i've had that multiple-finder problem when fooling around with duality and themes...and it looks like you've been fooling around with them too. i reset back to aqua, restarted, and everything was fine. i'm using duality 4gt now and don't have any problems.
