I see is a common problem for many, WiFi not seeing networks.
I tried many things yesterday and it worked, all day.
Come today and off again. Tried all things done yesterday and still not working.

Have tried removing WiFi in network prefs, creating a new WiFi 2, placing it first in order, renewing dhcp, removing five .plist items from preferences folder, restarting system...

So, what is it? Is there a specific order these things need to be done? Has anyone found a permanent fix?

Could be a number of things.

But my first suspect would be the Bluetooth Set-up Assistant (can be found in System Preferences).
Turn it off. Sometimes this can cause intermittent interference with WiFi.
