Rep says I can order in store today for pick up tomorrow. Anyone else done or heard

I spoke with a Verizon store rep near me and she told me I could come in and run my credit and get everything going now. Then, pick up my iPhone tomorrow in store whenever.

Jus wanted to know if this was a regular practice or if anyone has done ths before I head to the store. Thanks.

They probably mean that you can come in today and get all the credit check, pre-order stuff done, and then you can wait in line tomorrow like everyone else.

I don't believe that. If anything I'd go tomorrow. Confirm stock and availability. Then and only then signup.
