I spilt my post workout all over my 13” MacBook Pro with TouchBar and it won’t turn on now. I have AppleCare (not AppleCare+) and am wondering how much it’s going to cost to repair. Has anyone else had to do this?

It's not going to be cheap based on my experience. I'm in Canada and the apple store quoted me $700 to replace the motherboard in an early 2015 air.

You may be better off taking it to an apple repair shop to see if it can be fixed by being dismantled, cleaned, and replacing defective board components.

I just cracked my screen last week with regular apple care - and the quote for the repair was over $600 - However, I had a cool apple employee who made an exception and did the repair for free.

A lot. Or a TON. Depending what the liquid got into.

When my brothers MBP got water damaged it cost basically the base price of the current MBP to repair (it was about 2 gens behind).
