So!
My iPhone 4 had a screen with a chip in it (worked fine otherwise) and I ordered a replacement. Long story short, I went through the repair (which took hours) and put the screen in. I pieced everything back together and tested the phone before I put the back on. Everything looked right, the responsiveness was right, etc.
I went ahead and slid the back on, and suddenly the phone backlight would come on but no image would appear.
Panicked, I took the back off, made sure the two connector cables were in place, tried again. No luck. I then put the old screen (which worked fine) back on -- same problem.
Am I **** out of luck here? Did I inadvertantly damage something larger (the motherboard perhaps) when putting the back on? Anyone with experience, your advice would be greatly appreciated.
