Hi there all,

I have a iPhone 4 (not S) with a smashed front screen as you can see here. The back glass is perfectly fine, as it the touch. It works perfectly fine. Anyway, should I go about repairing this myself as it seems easy to do so (I think!) do I;

A) Have to replace just the glass @ £5
B) Have to replace the glass and digitizer @ £15
C) Have to replace the whole LCD panel @ £30 odd or;
D) Have to take it to a shop because i'll mess it up

Any help is appreciated!

ive done it on both a 4 and 4S before. the fix is simple and takes about an hour. no reason you cant do it by yourself by following online video guides and with the correct tools. just get a proper screen from a good retailer, not a cheapo one.

It's easy to do if you're patient, but it's also fairly easy to mess something up with one slip.

So if u mess up, that would be a perfect excuse to upgrade!
