Hey all,

I've recently did a full format and reinstall of OS X (SL) and when I repair my permissions and disk both within the OS and from the disc, there are still things being picked up and logged in disc utility. Is there anyway to fully fix and get rid of the reoccurring items that keep appearing?

This is nothing new. The results from DURP are untrustable, and have been for well over two years. It's buggy behavior which popular "wisdom" claims we should simply ignore.

EDIT: of course... without seeing a listing of the exact files in that log, one can only assume your issue is the same (related to software updates), in which all Leopard+ users share.
