Hi,

I am working on someones apple system on which they had deleted their entire iMovieHD Project Folder and subsequently emptied the trash. I have recovered about 50% of the files but they are recovered under seperate categories i.e. 'dv' 'aiff' and even 'iMovie Projects / Videos'. The filenames themselves have been lost. Is there any app out there that can scan all the data and collate the files? I am using File Scavenger as a recovery program and it does support recovering iMovie project files as well as embedded files etc. But as I say this does not seem to be doing the trick.

Cheers

Merc.

One option might be to create a new iMovie project, and drag in some other video clip. Then save that and find the project files.
Take your recovered files and copy them into the project? ( dv , aiff, etc seperately ) and then load iMovie? It's along shot, I know.
