Hello all -

I have a Mac Mini 3,1 that has been running Windows XP under Boot Camp for a few years.

It started getting an unmountable boot volume BSOD last week and after running chkdsk /r I was able to get XP booting again, but then the mouse driver would not work in Windows at all.

I did an in place XP repair installation last night and now have the mouse working again, but now the Boot Camp control panel is gone and XP does not see the Ethernet adapter and will not connect to any wireless network using the wireless adapter.

I attempted to reinstall the Boot Camp drivers from the DVD the computer came with, but the installation fails. I believe this is due to the fact that the computer has some remnants of Boot Camp drivers that were updated since the Boot Camp version that came on the DVD.

Therefore, I booted into OS 10.6.8 and ran the Boot Camp Assistant hoping I could grab the support software online, but I get the dreaded error saying that the support files are currently not available.

Is there another way I can try downloading the latest Boot Camp support software for this Mac Mini so that I don't have to completely wipe and reinstall Windows? I've looked at Apple's support site, but can only find basic Boot Camp update downloads.

Thanks!
