Hello everyone.
My brother's macbook pro (2009 model) 15" is freezing a lot lately and he checked it out using disk utility.
It asked him to repair the disk, but in order to do that he will need a usb disk.
So how do we do it? Do we install Lion (he's running Lion on the mac) on the USB disk (how?) as a bootable flash drive, then boot the MBP from it (how?) ?
I searched the forum for repairing a disk but all I got was stuff for optibay and other irrelevant results.
Thank you for your time.
edit: Fixed.
CMD+R brings up Lion recovery and disk utility. You can repair the disk from there.
