Hi,

I hope someone can point me in the right direction,

I have an iPhone 5S, that Ive had since launch and is out of warranty, that suddenly stopped working overnight. The phone would not power on at all.

I placed the phone on the charger for approximately an hour and the phone started to come back to life showing the apple logo, my lock screen displayed and then the phone displayed a blue screen and rebooted.

I put the phone into DFU mode and attempted to restore through iTunes, which managed to go through the first part of the restore, but when the phone rebooted, it got a blue screen again and went into the boot loop.

I am not aware of the phone being damaged (Its in great condition with no scratches or knicks etc), however, on close inspection, the screen appears to be separating from the body of the phone at the top right hand corner, near the power button.

I can no longer restore the phone through iTunes, but iTunes does detect the phone in DFU mode.

I am wondering if anyone has any idea what could be causing this or where would be a good place to start troubleshooting?
I have seen people mention the proximity flex may be causing this but Im unsure how to test this?
