Hi guys, Im new to this board. Hope you can help me. I am trying to repair a friends Macbook Pro 2013. She spilled some Coffee and turned it on while it was wet. I disassembled it and cleaned the board with Propanol and brush. I installed a new battery, bccs the old one looked bloated. I put it back together. The charging works. The lights color of the connector changes from green to amber. SRC reset works too, also indicated by the led. But it wont turn on anymore.
Does anyone know what i should try next?
Thanks in advance for any help

Disconnect the battery, disconnect the trackpad, connect the charger, don't touch any keys, and wait for about a minute to see if the MacBook turns on by itself.

Did you fully disassemble the board to clean everywhere with pure isopropyl alcohol?

i disconnected the battery and the logic board. reconnected, tried without charger and then it worked :) But ill keep that one in mind for next time as well. thank you

Glad you got it going.

I asked about disassembling because, as time goes on, the dried residue from the coffee may cause corrosion problems down the road. The side of the logic board that faces the keyboard can't be cleaned without disassembling the MacBook.
