Repairing Permissions.. Always the SAME!! Help??

when i keep repairing permissions here and there (once a week? or 3 weeks? lol depends)

i keep getting the same history
any reason why?
its been like this for about two months now

ACL you can just ignore, I dunno about that last one.

Also, post your OS (10.5.1/2/3/4?)

If you're really irritated.... try the combo updater of whatever OS you're running!

Forget the CUPS thing.... its just a printer issue!

Hopefully you aren't running Disk Utility from the DVD, it contains outdated information.

Running repair permissions using the Disk Utility contained on the HD will use the information off the HD, with the updated information contained in the packages on the drive.

Though the OS version will also change things a bit.

Bout the only time you really need to run Disk Utility off the DVD is if you are trying to repair the HD.
