well, curiosity has finally gotten the better of me, and i want to try Linux. i have my Ubuntu install disc, now all's i need is a partition to install it on! can anyone recommend an app that will allow me to repartition my drive so that i don't have to reinstall OSX please? i don't fancy installing 2 OS's in one night!

thank you :)

You may want to give Parallels a try. It doesn't require partitioning, only disk space, and it runs as a virtual machine. You can get a trial copy - try it for a while.

EDIT: and enough memory!

Actually thinking about wont bootcamp partition the drive for you. Then you can install Linux on that partition.

Just a possibility, free to try.
