Hi,
I'm a bit concerned about a problem. I have a 20"aluminum iMac (3 months old, running Tiger). Recently I decided to make sure everything was working well on my machine by running "First Aid" on my hard drive. I was quite surprised to see that it had some errors on it. Fixed the problem by booting off my install disks anc clicking "Repair", but when I checked again today(I's been about a week), it came up with an identical error again.

Incorrect block count for file Temp File 6
(It should be 2973 instead of 0)
Incorrect number of thread records

and it said again -

The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

I'm not sure why this has happened again and it seems to point to some underlying problem that I don't know about.
I would very much appreciate some advice or suggestions.
Thanks !!

My computer did the same thing about two months ago and it was a hard drive failure, and if it is this problem, then it is not a user repairable problem.
